Initial Centre Recognition Fee - £500
 
This fee is applicable to new customers and includes the first year’s Annual Centre Recognition Fee.  It covers OCN support for the Centre in completing the centre recognition application, OCN administration to support the recognition process and associated training.
 
Annual Centre Recognition Fee
 
This is an annual fee, banded according to type of organisation:
 
Band A
All Non FE Centres

Band B
FE Centres with 2 merged colleges

Band C
FE Centres with 3 merged colleges
£1,050
 
The Annual Centre Recognition Fee covers: quality audit and centre risk assessment; access to a unit library; curriculum advice; national qualifications and bespoke accreditation; administration and account management costs.
Learner Registration Fees
Intended credit targets are based on 10 hour credits.  These fees are levied at the point of registration of learners and include standardisation, verification and certification costs.

Unit Development
 

OCN NI have created a new service to support centres who wish to develop their own units of assessment.  Our FREE monthly unit development workshops will give centres the skills to create their own units of assessment.  The methodology used will be the same as that used to develop units for the QCF and the service will also include an expert review of the completed units prior to either approval or request for further work.

 
Additionally centres have access to a growing bank of local units which is readily accessible and free of charge.  Also available is a wide range of units on the QCF which are a useful resource for any centre wishing to develop a local unit.
 

For those centres who feel this process does not meet their needs we also have a new unit devellopment consultancy service which enables us to develop and validate a bespoke unit for you with a fee of £150 per unit.
