Celebrating Adult Learner Week
OCNNI is keen to highlight the excellent work of our many learning providers across Northern Ireland during Adult Learners Week.
Adult Learners’ Week runs from Saturday 15 to Friday 21 May 2010 and provides a unique opportunity to run or promote a vast array of learning projects. Every year, ALW helps inspire thousands of people to see what learning could do for them, offering them the chance to catch up on skills they’ve missed out on in the past, or develop themselves for the future. Participation in Adult Learners’ Week, the UK’s largest festival of learning, it is a great way of making people aware of the learning opportunities that you provide and is a fantastic time to recognise the achievements of your learners.
So if you’ve been holding an event celebrating the work of your learners and accredited by OCN NI, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
Perhaps if you have had a certification event or did something a bit special with current learners then please feel free to send us photographs of the activities, along with some supporting information, for inclusion in a new Adult Learner section on the OCNNI website.
