Reporting to and working collaboratively with our CEO, the Qualifications Development Manager will be responsible for business and qualifications development within OCN NI along with the associated marketing related to these areas. 

You will be a key contributor to the strategic direction of OCN NI, generating income through sales of viable qualifications, responding to business opportunities and ensuring proactive growth in given sectors.  The post holder will be responsible for ensuring OCN NI has a coherent diverse portfolio of qualifications which are fit for purpose, meet regulatory standards and are in line with proven market demand. 

You will have a minimum of three years’ experience in an education or training role involving curriculum design/training programme development along with a minimum of three years’ experience of project management and planning and delivering against targets.  The job holder will hold a third level qualification and have at least three years’ experience of managing people and resources. 

You will demonstrate a sound working knowledge of current developments in the education/training sectors in Northern Ireland, including regulatory requirements along with strong interpersonal skills to enable you to motivate and inspire your team.
