OCN NI SUPPORTS THE JAM INTERNATIONAL STUDIES ACADEMY

The JAM International Studies Academy has provided education for creches, primary and secondary schools as well as preparation classes for foreign exams such as the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

It has been doing this for over 10 years in Ghana, and has now extended its boundaries to provide training in the UK specialising in Healthcare studies, recruitment, and training. It is approved by OCN NI to offer the regulated qualification, OCN NI Level 3 Diploma in Mental Health Studies.

The Director of JAM International Studies Academy, Ms Hilda Abban took the opportunity to deliver the qualification via OCN NI’s online learning platform Ambition. The programme was designed to meet delivery needs through use of a virtual classroom and digitalisation of resources already prepared by JAM International for delivery of the qualification.

JAM received a hugely positive response to the online course from learners who had been searching for such an opportunity to upskill their career paths.

‘Our learners are so proud for undertaking this course as they have learnt so much from the course using the UK perspective.' said Hilda Abban, Director of JAM International Studies Academy.

The Academy has now expanded its vision and is specialising in training, national and international recruitment and Nursing community care.
