OCN NI Level 3 Award In Craft

The OCN NI Level 3 Award in Craft qualification has been designed to provide learners with an opportunity to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills needed to contribute to art and design activities.

Qualification Objectives

Learners will be able to choose from a range of units that will allow them to:

•          work on a design project
•          learn about different approaches to theory and practice
•          explore the various areas of craft such as textiles, dressmaking, embroidery, jewellery, silversmithing, glass work, ceramics and floral skills

Learners may also prepare further for employment/self-employment in the creative and cultural industries.
