CAFRE has found OCN NI to be an excellent organisation to work with over many years. OCN NI have a breadth of experience in the area of accreditation and demonstrate a willingness to understand the needs of the agriculture sector. CAFRE’s aim is to assist the growth of the agri-food industry in Northern Ireland through producing qualified people who are ready to make a difference. A highly qualified workforce underpins all economic development. CAFRE has developed an excellent partnership with OCN NI and we certainly hope that this will continue for many years to come

At Start360 we really value the importance of OCN NI qualifications. It helps us to ensure our staff are professionally trained and our service users are best equipped to move into training or employment. In other words, OCN NI ensures all Start360's learngin and training needs are met.

Many women have overcome considerable barriers to take part in our courses. With the shortage of skills and the under-representation of women in the construction sector - with an industry average of only 13.4% - our OCN NI training programmes are invaluable.

FE Colleges play a crucial role in delivering the critical skills to grow and sustain our economy. OCN NI’s responsiveness and flexibility as a local Awarding Organisation allows FE colleges to design economically relevant professional and technical qualifications which can be used to upskill the NI workforce and help support social inclusion.

I have been involved with OCNNI for nearly 8 years now. OCNNI were perfect for what I needed. They helped me develop a Forest School endorsed course tailored for learners needs in Northern Ireland. This enabled learners to study and get assessed in NI and not travel to GB. This course has proved invaluable and many teachers and professionals are using it now to bring children outside to learn. Without the endorsed course I would have had less credibility and it is a great incentive for learners’ CPD. In addition, the support I have had over the years has been second to none. Without OCNNI I doubt very much NIFSA would be regarded as highly as it is today and still in business 8 years later!
